Our bio-refinery offers a range of key interdependent focus areas to the South African energy sector.
Green Energy Research and Development.
Newautoenergy facilitates and leads regular Research and Development initiatives in advanced energy crop plantations and next-generation green polymers. We have partnered with like-minded entities in designing alternative renewable and green energy solutions.
Our domestic and institutional units are designed in such a way that it can be installed in a minimum space compared with other existing models in the field.
Renewable natural gas (RNG), or bio-methane, is a pipeline-quality gas that is fully interchangeable with conventional natural gas and thus can be used in natural gas vehicles. RNG is essentially bio-gas –the gaseous product of the decomposition of organic matter- that has been processed to purity. Like conventional natural gas, RNG can be used as a transportation fuel in the form of compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquefied natural gas (LNG).
With minor clean-up, bio-gas can be used to generate electricity and heat. To fuel vehicles, bio-gas must be processed to a higher purity standard. This process is called conditioning or upgrading, and involves the removal of water, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, and other trace elements. The resulting RNG, or bio-methane, has a higher content of methane than raw bio-gas, which makes it comparable to conventional natural gas and thus a suitable energy source in applications that require pipeline-quality gas.
We serve the South African energy consumers with alternative environmental friendly energy types. Our main focus is the automotive, power generation, commercial and industrial entities.
Our inputs are entirely organic harvests from none-food energy plantations; organic waste from plantations, households, industry, farms etc; sewage waste; various water sources including acid mine water from mining operations, waste water from sewage plants.
In delivering our innovative energy solutions, we have established vital partnerships in developing integrated bio-refinery solutions to South Africans.
